Privacy Policy

Goddard is a native desktop app for working with local coding agents. This policy explains what information we collect, what stays on your device, and how the website behaves.

Information we do not collect

Goddard is built around a simple idea: your work belongs to you.

• No account is required to download or use Goddard.
• We do not collect your code, prompts, transcripts, or task data.
• We do not run analytics or tracking in the app.

Information that stays on your device

• Agent CLI configurations and credentials for the subscriptions you bring are stored locally. Goddard detects installed CLIs; it does not transmit your keys to us.
• Tasks, transcripts, checkpoints, and settings are stored locally on your machine.

Remote connections you configure

If you connect the desktop app to a Goddard daemon on another machine, or use the companion mobile app, traffic flows between your own devices over an authenticated WebSocket. We do not relay or store that traffic.

Third-party services

• Your AI providers. When you run an agent, prompts and code go to the provider whose CLI you selected (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, or others). Their own privacy policies apply to that traffic.
• GitHub. Downloads are served from GitHub Releases, and this website queries the public GitHub API for repository data. GitHub may log those requests under its own privacy policy.

This website

The Goddard website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Requests for page assets and downloads may be logged transiently by our hosting and release providers (Cloudflare and GitHub) for security and operational purposes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
